GTAccess has invested in 14 new Multitel HX200EX and MZ250 truck-mounted platforms.

GTAccess are pleased to launch an additional new fleet of truck-mounted cherry pickers.

Comprising 12 new Multitel HX200EX and 2 of the Multitel MZ250 machines. These articulated truck-mounted machines are all very compact and ideal for highway maintenance work, tree surgery and general maintenance.

Mounted on the powerful and robust IVECO Daily 3.5t 35S14 Euro 6E, these vehicles can easily cope with rugged terrain making them perfect for construction sites and locations with steep inclines. The vehicles also feature the latest safety technology to protect vulnerable road users, such as cycle sensors, in-cab alert systems, lower door glass on the passenger side, and a full panoramic camera CCTV system so the driver has enhanced vision around the vehicle.

These truck-mounted boom lifts are great for those shorter hire jobs where the machine must be removed from site the same day or applications featuring multiple site locations.

HX200EX

The HX200EX is mounted on IVECO Daily 35S14 Euro 6E. This aerial platform is super light, and homologated for two people, with a capacity of 225 kg in the basket. This compact truck-mounted platform has an excellent ‘Up and Over’ hydraulic boom which allows us to achieve good outreach, even at high levels. Working height is 19.9m, working outreach 9.6 m.

MZ250

The MZ250 employs an entirely new, with a two-section lower boom, a two-section upper boom and a fixed-length articulating jib. The MZ250 is mounted on a 3.5t Iveco Daily chassis. It offers an outreach up to 13 metres, as well as 2.5 metres of below-ground reach. It will also be equipped with the MUSA Multitel Self Adapting- outreach system which automatically adjusts the working envelope depending on the actual outrigger positions, the slew point of the superstructure and the load in the platform.

In addition to the above, GTAccess also offer additional self-drive as well as operated platforms from our existing rental fleet to cover whatever your requirement may be.

Jonathan Till, managing director at GTAccess said: " Since we made the decision to purchase the original order of Multitel MZ250, we have seen exceptional customer demand and excellent feedback about the product. This has lead to us purchasing a new fleet of HX200EX and two additional MZ250 to deliver further benefits to customers in terms of time and cost efficiencies. This latest order demonstrates our confidence in the market and product as we seek to service customers who support the maintenance of the UK infrastructure.”

Alongside the Multitel, the HX200 (12) and MZ250 (2) as part of a continuing strategy to replenish and expand its powered access fleet. These access platforms will join others purchased this year from Genie, Manitou, JLG, Niftylift, Dingli and Haulotte making the GTAccess fleet one of the most modern in the industry. Providing our customers with the latest access platforms is just part of how we give our customers the GTAdvantage™.
